Capri<\/b> (\/<\/a><\/span>k<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u0259<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u02c8<\/span><\/a><\/span>p<\/span><\/a><\/span>r<\/span><\/a><\/span>i\u02d0<\/span><\/a><\/span>\/<\/a><\/span><\/span>; Italian pronunciation:\u00a0<\/small>[\u02c8ka\u02d0pri]<\/a><\/span>) is an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea<\/a> off the Sorrentine Peninsula.<\/a> It’s on the south side of the Gulf of Naples<\/a> in the Campania<\/a> region of Italy<\/a> and the main town Capri<\/a> that is located on the island shares the same name. It has been a resort since the time of the Roman Republic<\/a> and one of my very favorite places in the world. Here are some snaps I took upon arrival this week.<\/p>\n
